Most bloggers do not need to spend a lot of time crafting their mission statement like it’s life support for the blog as many business sites will make you believe. As you can see, a mission statement can be whatever you want it to be. Some use it more for public relations, and others live by it. If you are applying for funding, you’ll want something very professional; however, if it’s just for you or your image, you can get creative.
